Conservation Overlay

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Zoning Commission had to table action on a consideration of Zoning Map amendments to the County Zoning Ordinance Monday. A crowd estimated at some 500 residents were on hand to address concerns over the requirements for Conservation District Overlays. It now appears that the matter will not make it make to the Zoning Commission until sometime next year. Public Information meetings will be held to get more information out to those property owners affected. The Public Information Meetings were scheduled earlier in November.
