School Patrons Begin Campaign

BOONE, Iowa---Boone School District patrons supporting an effort to improve Boone High School have quietly begun their campaign with a place on Facebook. A recent meeting drew a couple of dozen people. The Facebook page, Boone High School: It's Time, also features an informational brochure. Earlier this year, the School Board reviewed options to deal with facility issues at the High School. A plan was offered and financing details were worked out. The process will now require patrons to petition the school board to move ahead with a bond issue.
