Assistance Still Available

BOONE, Iowa---Boone County residents that sustained property loss or damage from storms or flooding this past summer still have time to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Friday November 12th is the deadline. John Mills with FEMA told KWBG earlier that even if residents received assistance from another source, they should still register. He says the may be eligible for additional assistance. To register, call toll free 1-800-621-3362 or on line at www.disasterassitance.gov. Help is also available at the Boone County Disaster Recovery Center located at the Luther City Hall until November 9th.
