BOONE, Iowa---Early morning thunderstorms are suspected of causing a house fire at 528 West 16th Street, Monday morning. The fire was reported about a quarter to five in the morning at the Larry Swank residence. Authorities did report that everyone was out of the house. The fire apparently started on the roof and then spread. Officials do suspect lightning as the cause. The Boone Fire Department, Boone Police, Boone County Sheriff's Department, Boone County Search and Rescue and Boone County Ambulance were all at the scene.
