FastTrac Program Begins in a Week

BOONE, Iowa---First Step FastTrac, a trademarked program for entrepreneurial training begins in a week on the Boone Campus of Des Moines Area Community College. Classes will be held on the Boone Campus, Tuesday evenings until May 24th. Dave Cook will facilitate the program and says it's exciting that the program is being made available locally. Previously anyone wishing to participate needed to travel to Newton. Besides that, the cost of the program is reduced because of a grant from the Iowa Foundation for Microenterprise and Community Vitality. A Boone business, Specialty Leathers is also providing scholarship assistance to those that would like to attend. Information is available from Dave Cook at 515-460-1424.
