Hicks Win is Official
BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Supervisors used a special meeting Monday morning to formally canvass last Tuesday Boone City special election. County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections, Phil Meier says there were no irregularities and there was no vote change. Kevin Hicks received 51-votes in the special election, followed by Travis Stevenson with 46 and Steve McCoy with 20. Hicks will replace Glen Thompson on the City Council and will represent the city's 4th Ward.
