BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Park Commission has consistently refused to accept the work done a year ago on the Recreational Trail located next to the Linwood Park Cemetery and near the Skate Pond. The Commission has repeatedly voted to refuse accepting what they consider to be unacceptable work on the trail. Meanwhile the contractor of the project has refused to reconstruct the stretch of trail. It appears the matter may be headed to arbitration. Boone City Attorney Alan Schroeder may be able to update the City Council Monday.
