Household Hazardous Waste

BOONE, Iowa---The Clean up Crew will be in Boone Saturday morning for the annual Household Hazardous Waste Clean-up event. Volunteers will join the Clean up Crew at the northeast parking lot on the DMACC Boone Campus. Residents may drop off acceptable materials between 9:oo AM and 11:00 AM. There's no charge to bring items to the drop off location. According to Landfill Administrator Scott Smith, anyone that misses the event can call the landfill at 433-0591 to schedule an appointment to bring household hazardous materials to the landfill.
