BOONE, Iowa---Two construction projects have recently gotten underway in Boone. DMACC has moved ahead with site preparation for another apartment building, making it the fifth to be constructed on the Boone Campus. The site plan received City Council approval last week. Peterson Construction has also moved in an begun site preparation on the south side of the city for the new Wal-Mart Store. South of US Highway 30, hidden from most of the public is the addition being built at Proliant.
