BOONE, Iowa---Preliminary numbers for the Boone County Hospital, through the month of December, shows that net income has exceeded budgeted expectations by more than $95,000. The actual amount has already exceeded the 2011 figure by almost $200,000. Hospital CEO Joe Smith noted increases in some of the specialized service areas. He noted that outpatient services continues to be very positive.
