BOONE, Iowa---Volunteers are still be sought for next Saturday's "Keep Boone County Scenic" litter pickup event. The first time effort does have some volunteers, but can use more according to Landfill Administrator Scott Smith. Volunteers will gather on Saturday, April 17th and will go for a walk, picking up litter. Everything will be returned to a central location so an accurate weight can be determined.
