Friends of Ledges Meets

BOONE, Iowa---The Friends of the Ledges State Park meet Thursday evening for their second meeting of 2011. Andy Bartlett, Ledges Park Manager says the group is planning a project for one of the upper park picnic areas this year. Bartlett says the group of volunteers is also inviting others to join their efforts. More supporters will lead to more projects. Bartlett says the volunteer group has been a big addition to the work being done at the state park. People that want to find out more can also go to the groups web site. The meeting is held at the Ledges Park Office at 6:30 PM.
