Early Voting

BOONE, Iowa---Boone County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Phil Meier says people need to remember follow directions when they vote an absentee or early ballot. Meier says in the past, if the paper work was unsigned, the ballot was not counted. Now, he says they are able to open the mail and check for signatures and have already had to contact voters about their error. Meier says if you intend to cast your ballot early, just remember to read and follow the directions to make sure your counted.
