BOONE, Iowa---Boone County Emergency Management Coordinator Dave Morlan says he expects more registrations with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Morlan says when FEMA announced that Boone County would be eligible for individual assistance for residents and businesses, there were 52-people registered. By Tuesday morning, the number increased to 68. Morlan says not everyone will receive assistance, but without registering, you know you won't receive assistance. To register with FEMA for storm related damages that occurred in June, July or August, call toll free 1-800-621-3362 or go online to www.disasterassistance.gov. The deadline to register is November 12th.
