Bluff Creek Triatholon
May 19, 2010 BOONE, Iowa---Organizers have seen a huge increase in 2nd Annual Bluff Creek Triathlon held in Boone County this weekend. The Sunday event will be held at the Don Williams Recreational Area in northern Boone County. Participation has been limited to no more than 600 participants. Boone County residents are encouraged to use caution Sunday while the event is underway. Participants will be making use of county roads for some of the bicycle competition. The Bluff Creek Triathlon uses routes similar to those used by the Iowa Summer Games.
