BOONE, Iowa---The Corporal Snedden Drive overpass project and the Boone County RISE application are competing for the same road space, the Industrial Park Road. The City Council has voted to move ahead with a plan to begin improvements on the road as part of the overpass project, and would like a transfer of jurisdiction. However, the Supervisors want to wait and see if they are successful with their project application. It could take a few months before a decision is made by the Iowa DOT on the County's project.
