BOONE, Iowa---The 5th Annual Dragoon River Romp will be held on September 18th and Coordinator Lois Powers says they have to stop taking volunteers for the program. Powers says this is the earliest they've had to shut off volunteer applications. The Dragoon River Romp is an award winning program in which volunteers garbage and refuse from the Des Moines River in Boone County.
