School Resource Officer

BOONE, Iowa---It's been several years since the Boone Police Department has had enough personnel to designate one as a school resource officer. The topic has come up recently and discussions have been held between the Boone School District Administration and Boone Police Chief Bill Skare. Only a brief review has been presented to the Boone School Board and Skare is giving the City Council's Public Safety and Transportation Committee an update during their Thursday meeting. Both the School Board and the City Council would have to agree eventually.
