BOONE, Iowa---The first part of the Boone City Wide Clean Up begins this weekend as residents north of Mamie Eisenhower need to set items they want the City's Public Works Department to pick up beginning Monday. Boone Mayor John Slight says they will only pick up permitted items in the next week. Residents south of Mamie Eisenhower can set items out on Sunday, June 12th. For those that have appliances and tires, special arrangements need to be made. Information on the details of the City Wide Clean Up are available here.
