BOONE, Iowa---Boone City Administrator Luke Nelson says he likes the position the city is in as the fiscal year concludes. Nelson says the situation hasn't changed much since budget time and progress has been made on establishing some reserves in necessary accounts like the general fund portion of the city's operation. Nelson says many have expressed concern about the pending actions of the legislature, but he says once the state is done with their work, then the city will find a way to adapt. Nelson was on the KWBG News/Public Affairs Program "Tuned In" Wednesday.
