BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Historical Society 18th Annual Quilt Show begins Thursday morning and Charles Irwin, Executive Director for the Historical Society says he's hoping for another successful event. Over the years, organizers have raised over $50,000 for the Historical Society. The show runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Historical Society Quilters have selected the theme "Harvest of Quilts" for this year and have also selected Ardy Clinkenbeard of Boone as the featured quilter.
