BOONE, Iowa---Thousands are expected to visit Boone the next two weekends for Thomas the Tank Engine. Fenner Stevenson, General Manager at the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad says they have hosted Thomas visits since 1997. He says early says are running way ahead of last year by about 16-percent. Stevenson says the expectations are that 12,000 to 15,000 people will be in town for a visit with Thomas.
