Annexation Agreement

BOONE, Iowa---There is apparently an agreement between Industrial Park Businesses and the City of Boone over annexation. At least the issue is on the agenda for the Boone City Council's meeting on Monday. City Administrator Luke Nelson had indicated that both sides were working on a voluntary annexation agreement that would be implemented over a number of years. The Council agenda for Monday has the Council considering a resolution related to the agreement. There is no indication that the entire Council has seen the agreement prior to release of the agenda for the Monday meeting.
