OGDEN, Iowa---The Ogden City Council will consider appointing former Mayor Mark Trueblood to fill a vacancy created with the death of Council Member Lyle Conklin earlier this month. City Administrator Donovan Olson had said that the Council was looking at making an appointment, which would be good until the next municipal election in November. He noted that residents would still have an option to petition for a special election if they wished.
