Don Williams Lake Plans Review

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Conservation Board will receive a first hand review of plans for a fish kill at the Don Williams Lake later this year. Andy Hockenson, Director for Boone County Conservation has presented the idea to the Conservation Board and will be joined Monday by a DNR Biologist who will discuss the project with by the Board. So far, discussion has included lowering the level of the lake to aid in a fish kill of rough fish. Additional work on the lake area is being discussed in connection with the project.
