Labor Debate

BOONE, Iowa---State Representative Chip Baltimore (R-Boone) says the Republican controlled House will certainly put forth proposed changes to deal with some labor issues. In particular, Baltimore says health insurance and arbitration are two points where he would hope some change can occur. Baltimore says the work being done in the Iowa House of Representatives will not eliminate collective bargaining as some might be saying. Senator Jerry Behn (R-Boone) says he expects most labor related matters to be stonewalled by the Democratic controlled State Senate.
