BOONE, Iowa---Boone Mayor John Slight says somethings are beginning to shape up for the July 26th overnight stop by RAGBRAI. Slight says many riders will be directed to McHose Park for camping, but downtown Boone will be the location for entertainment and evening activities. Slight says the committees handling everything from housing to public safety are coming together quickly. He also says he's excited about the number of people that have stepped up to volunteer and help. Slight says the goal is to make Boone the best overnight city.
