Hospital Financials Remain Positive

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Hospital continued to show good numbers through the month of January, even though both inpatient and outpatient revenue was below budget. Operating expenses were also below budget, to the bottom line was nearly a $50,000 gain for the month. The report to the Hospital Board of Trustees noted income is trailing the budgeted amount, but remains in the black and is over $137,000 ahead of the pace through the first seven months a year ago.
