BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Hospital Board of Trustees is expected to once again approve a tax asking for the next fiscal year that will keep the Hospital Rate unchanged. The rate has actually not changed in several years. The recommendation from the Hospital Administration is to once again keep the rate at just over 92 cents per thousand of assessed valuation. The rate is expected to generate slightly more than $1,000,000 in the next fiscal year.
