OGDEN, Iowa---The Ogden City Council this week took yet another step toward dealing with downtown nuisance abatement's. The Council approved a resolution to proceed with the demolition of the "Rattray" Building and is in the process of completing acquisition of the "Johnson" Building. The Council has been working for sometime to deal with the abatement or possible demolition issues, but hopes are that work will be done this summer. At the same time, efforts are being addressed to redevelop the available downtown property.
