BOONE, Iowa---The Boone Park Commission tabled action this week on an idea to purchase security bars for windows on the McHose Park Shelter House. The Commission reviewed information that was presented simply to consider as a way to keep windows from being broken out by vandals. Park Commission members have been debating whether to install the extra security or just plan to replace windows that get vandalized. The matter may be discussed at future Commission work sessions.
