BOONE, Iowa---Ideal weather conditions greeted the first day of the 29th Annual IMCA SuperNationals at the Boone Speedway. Hundreds of cars and drivers will participate in the event which will draw thousands of fans. Promoter Robert Lawton says the show has expanded and will include Sport Compacts in Tuesday's schedule. Locally, authorities were concerned with numerous calls to the racetrack Sunday night into Monday morning. Monday to Tuesday was much quieter.
