Council to Hold Hearing for Block Grant

BOONE, Iowa---Boone City Administrator Luke Nelson says the Council will take the next step in the process to obtain a Community Development Block Grant to cover some of the cost of the next phase of the city's sanitary sewer rehabilitation project.  Nelson say they will pursue a $600,000 grant.  The City Council will hold a required public hearing during their meeting Monday.  The next phase of the project will be on the north end of the city, between Story and Linn Streets.
