BOONE, Iowa---The Boone School Board this week did approve moving ahead with plans to sell property that remains following the demolition of the Lowell and the Bryant Elementary Schools. Superintendent Brad Manard said this week that the Board wants to sell off the property and allow the purchaser to take care of the subdividing. Manard says the district has looked at making the two open spaces available for parks but the city is not interested.
