City Continues Property Protection Program

BOONE, Iowa---Boone City Administrator Luke Nelson says the City is continuing it's support of the Property Protection Program for residents that want to make sure footing tile and sump drains are disconnected from sanitary sewer lines. This week, Nelson said the focus will be on making that assistance available to residents in the northeast part of Boone, the targeted area for the next phase of sanitary sewer rehabilitation. Nelson says the Council approved additional funds to provide assistance to more residents. Information on the program is available at the Boone City Building Officials Office.
