BOONE, Iowa---The Boone Municipal Airport Commission will continue to plan for additional improvements at the airport, following the announcement by Senator Tom Harkin that the City will receive a grant of more than $608,000 for on going rehabilitation and construction. The current focus has been to apply the money to making necessary repairs in the existing parking ramp and taxi ways. New construction did include hangars and related apron work.
