Boone Middle and High School Classes today

BOONE, IA - Classes for Boone Schools begin today, at least for the Middle School and High School. Superintendent Brad Manard says this summer was spent focusing on improvements at the Page and Lincoln Elementary buildings. Manard says plan were in place to do the work once work was completed at Franklin and the Middle School. According to Manard, the last building awaiting improvements will be the High School. Of course, voters will be considering that when they vote on the Boone Referendum during the school elections on September 13th. Elementary school classes will begin on Wednesday, August 24 in Boone.
