Hospital Finances Improve Over 2010

BOONE, Iowa---The preliminary report for the Boone County Hospital through the past fiscal year is pretty good. The numbers are below budget, but ahead of the pace set one year ago. The year ended up over $735,000 in the black, short of the $1 million dollar balance budgeted for the year. Last year the balance was just over $655,000. The Boone County Hospital has revenue and operating expenses that each surpass $40 million.
