Committee Recommends Policy Development

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council's Public Safety and Transportation Committee has directed to staff to develop a policy that will allow consistency and guidelines for locating directional signage in the city. The Committee was addressing the matter of signage for the Boone Area Humane Society and the discussion turned to establishing a written policy. By the way, the Committee did approve the placement of signage for the Boone Area Humane Society, but details will need to be worked out with staff. The policy may be available for Council consideration next week.
