BOONE, Iowa---Boone County District Court Judge Steven Oeth has ruled that a change of venue will not be necessary for the second murder trial of Jessica Hill. Hill charged in connection with the death of her husband Michael Hill in 2007. Jessica Hill was found guilty of 2nd degree murder as the result of a trial in Pottawattamie County two years ago. That verdict was overturned by the Iowa Court of Appeals and new trial of ordered. Oeth ruled that enough time has passed and an impartial jury could be found in Boone County.
