Supervisors Review Voluntary Annexation

BOONE, Iowa---The City of Boone has requested that the Boone County Supervisors allow the voluntary annexation of the road at South Marion Street and West Park Avenue. The City is proposing to acquire property that would be the location for a new water tower. The matter was reviewed by the Supervisors this week in preparation of taking any formal action. The City Council's Utility Committee has been keeping updated on the efforts to acquire property and develop a plan for the proposed project.
