Boone Police Officer Resigns

BOONE, Ia - A Boone police officer who resigned last week remains under state investigation. Rodney Thompson was place on administrative leave last week, the same day the department asked the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation to conduct a probe into an allegation against him. He resigned two days later. Details of the allegation haven't been released.
