Ogden City Council Accepts Project

OGDEN, Iowa---The Ogden City Council has approved a resolution accepting the Storm Sewer Collection Project. The $1.2 million project was mandated by the Iowa DNR as a way to move storm water away from the city's sanitary sewer system, avoiding overflows at the city treatment plant. The Council did not turn over all the retainer, project dollars that are held until the work is complete, but did reduce the amount being held. Officials say only a couple of things need to be addressed including some seeding.
