Carroll Man Sentenced After Boone Arrest

DES MOINES, Iowa---37-year old Duane Russell Conroy of Carroll was sentenced in U.S. District Court this week to 170 months in prison and 8 years of supervised release following imprisonment. Conroy was arrested in Boone in November 2010 and plead guilty to charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The case was investigated by the Central Iowa Drug Task Force, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Boone Police Department. The case was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
