RAGBRAI Proceeds Being Distributed

BOONE, Iowa---Organizers for RAGBRAI in Boone hoped the event would more than break even and if that was the case, additional proceeds would be doled out to a variety of community agencies and activities. The first of seven distributions was held Monday when Cody Bowers of the RAGBRAI Finance Committee presented a check for $3,359.62 to the Boone Police Department Shop With A Cop program. The Shop With A Cop program was selected because of it's strong community support and the opportunity it makes available to children.
