BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Hospital Board of Trustees have set some parameters a project manager for the current Electronic Medical Records project. This week, the Board authorized hospital administrators to select someone that fits the parameters and get them started on the multi-million dollar project. Hospital CEO Joe Smith says interviews have been conducted with two firms and two additional will be interviewed. A selection is expected in the next couple of weeks. The project is expected to be completed in about 4 years.
