BOONE, Iowa---Boone County will once again hold another Drug Drop Off event, Saturday from 10:00 until 12:00 at the police departments in Boone, Madrid and Ogden. Kelly Wooden, Boone County Project SAFE Coordinator has said the Drug Drop Off event has proven to be a success locally. Residents have a safe way to dispose of unused and expired medications. The Drop Off accepts prescriptions, over the counter medications, vitamins, supplements and unused and expired pet medications.
