BOONE, Iowa---Quite a few people participated in the Start Somewhere Walks held in Boone County Friday. The HyVee-Fareway combined walk drew nearly 140 participants that walked from HyVee to downtown Boone, down Story Street to the Gigglin' Goat, which was the former Fareway Store in Boone, then back to HyVee. Another large walk locally was at the Boone Campus of DMACC, a walk which included several participants from the Boone County Family YMCA. There was a walk organized in Ogden which drew a nice turnout and many schools also participated.
