Utility Committee To Review Wind Energy Proposal

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council's Utility Committee is prepared to review an ordinance dealing with small wind energy conversion systems. The ordinance has been sitting for some time as the city waited to see if there was any interest in the community. The most recent issue was the size of the lots, initially limited to one acre. Since then, some questions were raised and the Council directed the matter back to the Utility Committee at their last meeting. The Utility Committee meets at the City Hall Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
