Boards and Commissions

BOONE, Iowa---The first meeting of the new fiscal year and Boone Mayor John Slight says the Council has approved a couple of appointments. Slight says the city has been fortunate to have a good mix of volunteers, men and women, to fill spots on the city's Board and Commissions. But, Slight says they are always looking for new people that want to be involved. Slight says anyone interested in finding out more about those opportunities should contact City Hall. The Boone County Supervisors are also encouraging people interested in serving to find out more on the county's website.
